Open toolBoth terms describe creating new keys and a receiving address. The Bitcoin wallet generator creates a BIP39 mnemonic and derives a Bitcoin address locally. It is a key-generation tool, rather than an account service or a wallet that sends payments.
The Bitcoin generator supports mainnet, testnet, signet and regtest. Choose legacy P2PKH, nested SegWit, native SegWit or Taproot. The default is testnet. A test-network address and funds cannot be used on mainnet.
Record your mnemonic in a private offline backup. Never share it in a URL, search, support request or screenshot. Losing the backup can make keys unrecoverable; revealing it can give someone else control. QBitcoin does not save your wallet secrets.
Use the multi-coin wallet generator for one Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or Dogecoin mainnet wallet at a time. For Ethereum account formats, see the EVM wallet generator.
Create keys, inspect derivation information and work with existing public addresses using the dedicated tools. Wallet portfolio management and transaction signing are not provided. The separate broadcaster accepts an already signed Bitcoin mainnet transaction only after review and explicit confirmation.
