How do I create a Bitcoin wallet?

Choose mainnet, testnet, signet or regtest and an address type, then generate locally. The default is testnet. The result includes a mnemonic, receiving address and derivation information; keep all secret output private.

Is a Bitcoin wallet creator different from a generator?

Here, both describe creating new keys and a receiving address. The tool does not provide portfolio management, transaction signing or automatic backups.

Can I generate SegWit and Taproot wallets?

Yes. Choose native SegWit P2WPKH, nested SegWit P2SH-P2WPKH, Taproot P2TR or legacy P2PKH. The network and address type determine the standard derivation path.
